Windows Explorer: In a Windows Explorer window, type the following url: ftp://username:email@example.com (replace "username" and "password" with your own).
Third Party FTP Client: Popular FTP clients: CuteFTP, WS FTP are all supported. Enter the following information into your client:
FTP Server (or hostname): ftp.drivehq.com
FTP Port number: 21
User name and password: your DriveHQ username and password;
Remote Directory: Leave this blank or enter the root folder "/". Most FTP storage providers offer users an FTP account or directory. DriveHQ, however, gives users a "virtual" FTP server that is it's own root folder.
While Windows Explorer and FTP clients may offer you convenience, they are stripped of many features found in our File Manager software. Features that include file caching, file encryption, data compression for faster transfer rates, sharing capabilities, file versioning, and folder synchronization.
