First of all, please make sure you have installed the latest version CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera app for Android.
Background Recording is not enabled by default as it may drain your battery quickly.
To enable it, please tap on Settings, then check the Checkbox "Background recording", then tap the Camera tab. You can then press the Home button to switch to another app. CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera will continue running in the background. You can also press the Power button to turn off the screen (but do not power off the device), the app will still run in the background and keep uploading images / videos to CameraFTP.com.
If you enable Background Recording, please make sure your device is plugged in with a charger. Otherwise, your device will run out of battery quickly.
If you still cannot get it working, please email CameraFTP customer support with more detailed information about your phone model and Android version number.
