Hello,

I have downloaded the Camera FTP VSS software and I am having trouble configuring the ip cameras that I just bought. The software scans and finds the cameras on my home network with internal ip's: 192.168.100.13 and 92.168.100.13 on the port 5000. However, when I try to add them it says it can't connect to the Video Stream URL. I have tried to access the cameras from the browswer by accessing http://192.168.100.14:5000/ but i get this error:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
      <SOAP-ENV:Fault><faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode><faultstring>HTTP GET method not implemented</faultstring></SOAP-ENV:Fault>

Is there any chance that I could connect this no-name ip cameras?

Thank You!

Alex

Subject: Re:Need help, trying to configure 2 IP Cameras I just bought from Amazon

If you can find the camera's video stream URL, you can manually enter the URL in CameraFTP VSS software.

Otherwise, you can try to configure the cameras to upload directly without VSS or computer. The first step is to access your camera's configuration page using a web browser, then log on with your camera's default username & password. Usually, you can find the default account info in your camera's product manual.

If your camera supports FTP / SMTP based uploading, then it is usually compatible with our service. Please visit our setup guide pages for more info.

We have listed quite a few brands and models. Please read them. You might be able to find a model with a similar interface to your camera's
