Column widths in File Manager

In File Manager, how do I get column widths to be presistent? I adjust all the widths to fit, and if I quit FM and re-load they are remembered, but each time the computer is rebooted FM seems to forget all column width settings.

You are right, I don't think the column width info is saved to disk. The reason is Column Width is set to a default value, which is optimized to most folders. Note you need to resize the application a lot, so it is not good to preset column width.

I sure need to resize things a lot...back to the same size all the time! Can't it save them to to disk and reload, that is usual Windows behaviour...and if you are concerned make it an option.
