DriveHQ provides flexible and easy-to-use web publishing and hosting service. You can create your own branded website in a few minutes; what's more, you don't have to register a domain name.

To create your own website on DriveHQ.com, your account type must be a "TRUE" account or "Paid" account, i.e. you must have registered an account on DriveHQ.com using a non-free email address, or otherwise you have subscribed to our service.

1. Create A Personal Website

If you are a True member, your website is automatically published by default. Please access it at:

1.1. WWW Home Folder And Home.htm

When users visit the URL: //www.drivehq.com/web/WebIDName/, they are accessing "home.htm" file in your Published folder "WWWHome". When you activate your account, a default "home.htm" file, "WWWHome" folder and "WWWHome" share are created. Files in "WWWHome" share are accessible on the web. For example: File "\WWWHome\test\test.htm" is accessible through the following URL: http://www.drivehq.com/web/WebIDName/test/test.htm

2. Create A Business Website

DriveHQ provides advanced features for business website hosting. You can specify your own WWW domain name and email domain name. This way, your website can be accessed with your customized URL. E.g. if your domain name is whitehouse.gov. then assume your web DNS name is www.whitehouse.gov and email domain is whitehouse.gov, then your website can be accessed with:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/

and your email can be accessed through:

YourUserName@whitehouse.gov

3.FTP Hosting Service

DriveHQ can host your FTP service. You can use any FTP client software to connect to ftp.drivehq.com, logon with your DriveHQ username / password. You can upload and download files, share folders with your friends, classmates and co-workers.

4.SMTP/POP3 Email Service

In addition to the web-based email service, DriveHQ also provides SMTP/POP3 based email service. Normally, you can just use YourUserName@drivehq.com as your email address. However, businesses can also host their email services on DriveHQ.com with their own private domains. Just point your domain's mail exchange host to mail.drivehq.com, and enter the Email domain name in the EditWebInfo page.

5. E-Commerce Hosting Service

DriveHQ has built a powerful e-commerce hosting platform. Vendors can easily create their own store-front on DriveHQ.com; they can also manage their own product lists and advertisements. DriveHQ has built a universal shopping cart that supports selling of general merchandise, photo prints and photo related personalized gifts, software and subscription services. DriveHQ provides well-designed APIs and framework to integrate with third-party fulfillment center. For online software sales, we provides license API and we can also call third party license server to issue license keys.

Bandwidth Limit On Sharing And Publishing Files

To avoid service abuse, there is a limit on each website's bandwidth usage. Usually you don't need to pay for bandwidth for casual use. If your website has a lot of activities, you will need to subscribe to our service, which gives you extra bandwidth.

Bandwidth limit is based on monthly usage and is automatically reset each month.
