What Happens When I Apply?
The information you provide during the application process will be checked electronically with a credit reference agency but only to verify your identity and residency. Your credit history is not checked.
The search will leave a soft footprint on your credit file. You will be able to see the ‘soft’ check on your credit report, other financial companies will not see the search. Our check will not affect your credit rating.
Am I Guaranteed Acceptance?
If you pass the identity and residency check, and we can confirm you are a permanent UK resident aged 18 or over, you can open our Account.If we are unable to confirm your identity during the application process we will ask you to post us documents. Checking Your Identity
