Bad Credit History?
If you have a bad credit history you can open our bank account. We don't credit check. To apply for our Current Account you need to be a permanent UK resident aged 18 or over and pass satisfactory identity and residency checks.
Your credit history may prevent you from opening many of the bank accounts available on the high street. At Secure Ṫrust Bànk your credit history is not a problem.
Often called basic bank accounts, bad credit bank accounts are designed to help you manage your money. With our account you have all the benefits and security from an established bank with extra help to keep your finances in control. We will provide you with a basic account, even if you have been declared bankrupt, are in a debt management plan or an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA).
To open our bank account there is an initial set up fee of £12.50 and monthly management fee of £12.50.

Yes, Secure Ṫrust Bànk established 1954 is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and regulated by the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority. Our bank account is open to all permanent UK residents aged 18 or over. We will check identity of all applications but we won’t check credit history. You can pay in your wages, salary or benefits and set up Standing Orders and Direct Debits and we will issue a Secure Ṫrust Bànk MasterCard® Prepaid card.
