Interlibrary Services (Lending)

The lending side of Interlibrary Services (ILS) locates and delivers materials from various UT Library collections for users from other institutions.

After Library Express searches the daily Interlibrary Loan requests, Digital Production copies and scans them and also updates the transactions in three different systems (ILLiad, Rapid, and Ariel). This change in workflow began in the Fall semester 2005, and has consolidated the searching process as well as the copying and scanning process for Document Delivery.

UTK faculty, staff, and graduate students may opt to have ILS materials delivered free of charge to their campus offices by Library Express.

The University of Georgia offers Photographic and Digital Imaging Services, which is dedicated to providing quality photographic and imaging services to University faculty, staff, library patrons and students. To assist researchers, publishers and other library visitors, they offer digital imaging, 35mm and medium-format copy work, and black and white photography. This includes reproducing maps, manuscripts, books, pamphlets and photographs from their general and special collections. http://www.libs.uga.edu/photo/index.html
