NANGA PARBAT, 8126 m

Pakistan, Punjab Himalaya,

NANGA PARBAT, DIAMIR (Naked Mountain) is the ninth higest mountain in the world and the western anchor of the Himalayas. Located in the Gilgit-Baltistan, a disputed region controlled by Pakistan.
Consists of four peaks: NANGA PARBAT- 8126 �., RAKHIOT - 7062 �., RUPAL - 7000 �., CHONGRA - 6820 �.

Nanga Parbat was first climbed, via the Rakhiot Flank (East Ridge), on July 3, 1953 by Austrian climber Hermann Buhl, a member of a German-Austrian Team

The Expedition will take place from June 13 to July 24, 2013 via Diamir Wall, Kinshoffer Route
