The Online Schedule is basically a Web Form based application developed using PHP and VB.Net that allows student to book classes online. It has been designed to allow even the busy and over occupied students to do their computer classes without much trouble. The Schedule allows a student to book a time slot even an hour before the scheduled time. This way the Schedule minimizes the chances of classes getting considered due to unavailability of the student. The Schedule does not ask a student to book classes on a regular basis. This allows the students to take a number of classes in a short span of time to cover large portions of the syllabus. The Schedule is very helpful for students planning to go out during vacation. They can consume their monthly classes within a short span of time and enjoy the remaining time of the holidays. Besides booking of slots, the Schedule also provides some other related facilities. Students can find out the details of all the available slots in the Schedule, so that they can plan and distribute their classes well in advance. The Schedule also lists the classes with full details that have been booked by a student. This way, the students can keep a track of their pending classes at a glance. The Schedule also given different views namely Day, Week and Month Views for viewing the available slots in it. The classes booked and subsequently done by the students get recorded in online server which may be referred to as and when needed. Not only this, the Schedule also sends reminder emails to students about their booked class a day before their scheduled time. In short, the Schedule is like a boon to the modern students which ensures that classes needed by the students are surely done.
However, the Schedule has its limitations too. It does not allow a student to book slots if he/she has not cleared the monthly Tuition Fees. It also does not allow a student to cancel slots as and when required. Cancellation of slots is only allowed if the concerned slot has not been confirmed. The Schedule does not allow a student to overbook. In other words, it does not allow anyone to book beyond its 8 student capacity. The Schedule also does not give any Waiting facility. All these problems arise because cancellation is not on the hands of the students and is managed by Jayanta Sir himself. Advantages l The Online Schedule allows booking/cancellation of slots from the house through Internet. l The Schedule lists all available slots present in it to assist the user in selecting slots. l It also lists all booked classes of a student helping him/her to track the booked classes.. l It displays the availability status of each slot thereby facilitating the booking of such slot(s).
Limitations l The schedule does not inform about the class number for any slot booked by a student. l Presently it does not allow a student to cancel a slot booked by him/her. l It also does not allow a student to book slot(s) if his/her monthly Tuition Fees are not paid.
