Manage Local Files And Folders

In the local file management pane (local pane), you can manage local files and folders in the same way as in the Windows Explorer window. In specific, you can

  1. Navigate through local files and folders

  2. Create new local folders

  3. Rename local files and folders

  4. Copy / Paste local files and folders

  5. Delete local files and folders

  6. Set view options on local files and folders

  7. Arrange files in a folder

  8. View properties of local files and folders


  1. Navigate through local files and folders

  3. Rename local files and folders
  4. Click the folder/file to rename, click again or right-click and select Rename from the popup menu; Enter the new name, once the name edit box is shown.

  5. Copy / Paste local files and folders
  6. Right-click on the file / folder to copy, and select Copy from the popup menu; navigate to the destination folder; right-click the local pane area, other than file names, select Paste from the popup menu.

  7. Delete local files and folders
  8. Select the file / folder to delete, click on button or press Delete key; Select Yes from the message box if you want to delete, or select No if you don't.

  9. Set view options on local files and folders
  10. Select the file/folder to set view options, and click on dropdown button “View”; Select from four options: “Thumbnail”, “Large Icon”, “Small Icon”, and “Detail”

  11. Arrange files in a folder
  12. Right-click the local pane area, other than the file names, select Arrange Icons By from the popup menu, and choose from four options: “Name”, “Size”, “Type”, and “Modify Time”.

  13. View properties of local files and folders
  14. Select the file/folder to view property, click button , or right-click the file name, and select Properties from the popup menu.
