This is the Model T Center Door conversion kit from
from Aardvark Models (http://www.aardvarkmodels.net/)
from the Modelmartin range. The body includes various small parts
(correct doorhandles, lamps) and the seats. To finish the model, an AMT/ERTL '23 or '25 Model T
roadster kit is required. I had no problems building the kit. The only thing I changed was the front window. I didn’t like the idea of glueing two separate windows on the outside of the frame. And it didn't look very realistic. I was also afraid that the glue marks would show. So I decided to remove the small resin frame and to build another frame from L-shaped brass. Now I could even leave the upper window slightly open for a more realistic look. |
