I just bought my first web cam and I want to watch my apartment while I'm at work.

I downloaded some "Digi-watcher" software last night, but they simply say, ftp the .mpg files to an ftp server".

Now (next day) I have a DriveHQ account, what information do I need to provide to Digi-watcher and Digi-RemoteView so that I can use my DriveHQ ftp location to store the mpg files.

Kind regards, your newest customer,

Mike Sullivan

Subject: Re: what information do I need to provide to Digi - use DriveHQ FTP

DriveHQ FTP service is a full-feature FTP server hosting service. Many webcams support FTP now. To upload photos / videos from webcam to DriveHQ FTP, you need to setup your webcam to connect DriveHQ FTP using the following info:

Server: ftp.drivehq.com (or 66.220.9.50)

IP: use FTP default port number;

Username / password is the same as your DriveHQ username / password;

Default folder: Use "/" or leave it empty or create a new folder.

The free service has limit on max storage and download bytes/month; it also limits 50MB upload each time, so it is recommended upgrading to DriveHQ premium service.
