============================== ASCII Sigs Manager for Outlook Version: 1.1 ------------------------------ by Brana Bujenovic ============================== ============ Introduction ============ ASCII Sigs Manager allows us to easily insert plain text signatures into the messages. We can also create new, rename or delete old signatures. There is also a provision to edit current signature with default Windows text editor or open it's Windows file properties. ============ Sample Usage ============ To insert the signature into the new message: 1. Start Outlook and hit Ctrl+N to start the new message. Click Insert/ASCII Signature. 2. Select the signature from the list and hit Enter. To set up the main sigs folder: 1. Start Outlook and hit Ctrl+N to start the new message. Click Insert/ASCII Signature. 2. Hit Ctrl+F, and browse to the folder of your choice. 3. Click OK. To open the About-box: From the Outlook main menu, click Help/About ASCII Sigs Manager. ============ Installation ============ To install the addin: 1. Close Outlook. 2. Copy sigs.dll to the folder where you store Outlook addins (for example: C:\MyOutlookAddins\) 3. Do one of the following: A. Run install.bat, and hit OK to close the confirmation dialog. B. At the command-prompt, navigate to the destination folder, and type "regsvr32 sigs.dll", hit Enter. Note, if you want to rename/move your Outlook-addins folder, or move the addin to another folder, just repeat the procedure, and re-register the addin. To uninstall the addin: 1. Close Outlook. 2. Do one of the following: A. Run uninstall.bat, and hit OK to close the confirmation dialog. B. At the command-prompt, navigate to the destination folder, and type "regsvr32 /u sigs.dll", hit Enter. ===== Price ===== Freeware.
