Messages can be archived, and restored from the archive, according to following criteria: 1. TOC Status (Unread/Read/Replied To/Forwarded/Redirected/Unsendable/Draft/Queued/Sent/Unsent/Time Queued) 2. TOC Priority (Highest/High/Normal/Low/Lowest). 3. Form Field 4. Date Range 5. Subject 6. To Field That way we can archive only old messages, or messages from particular time period, messages from Jack or Gill etc. Main program actions are: 1. Archive messages 1.1. Delete archived messages 2. Restore archived messages 2.1. Remove restored messages from the archive Message Archiver uses Microsoft Access database format for archiving purposes. Database file is stored inside the Plugins folder, and is named archive.mdb. Databases are generally very convenient for archiving purposes. This program now accompanies "Archive Messages" plugin. ================== Installation Notes ================== To install the program: 1. Copy archiver.dll into the Plugins directory of Eudora's main data-folder. 2. Start Eudora, and click: "Tools/Options/Automation/Automation enabled from this machine". 2.1. Optionally: Check "Tools/Options/Automation/Warn on Automation auto-send of messages". 3. Hit OK. To start the program: Click Tools/Archive Messages... To uninstall the program: 1. Close Eudora. 2. Remove archiver.dll, archiver.ini and archiver.txt from the Plugins directory of Eudora's main data-folder. 3. Optionally: Start Eudora and uncheck Tools/Options/Automation/Automation enabled from this machine. =================== System Requirements =================== Since Message Archiver uses Access database format, Microsoft Access is required. If Microsoft Access is not installed, following components are required: • Installed Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). • Joint Engine Technology (JET) package support.
