NEWS ON HALL MATTERS

This page gives details of latest developments concerning the James Hargreaves Community Hall.

  • The graveyard north wall has been repaired

  • The new flooring in the kitchen, toilet and corridor has been fitted.

  • The new kitchen was installed on April 27th.
    Tiling is completed

  • The new lighting system was installed on July 31st.
    The system provides daylight and mood illumination.

  • The old kitchen has been removed (see 'Gallery' for photos).

  • Internal and external walls have been painted

    •  
  • New guttering has been installed and shrubbery
    on the south wall has been trimmed.

  • The kitchen now has a new fridge, freezer and cooker, is fully commissioned and in use.

    •  
  • Work has started on the renovation of the 'old kitchen' end.
    A new sink unit has been installed.
