This page is devoted to those butterflies we have (currently!) only seen once or twice. This is often because they are somewhat outside their normal range, or would not usually live in the habitat provided by the meadow, and so are presumed to be just "passing through" or perhaps blown in by strong winds. We have always been delighted to see them of course - once we have recovered from the sense of surprise, that is!
