Recent Projects

Recent major projects carried out by us include:-

A course booking and tracking scheme for a large agricultural college. Implemented in Microsoft Access this multi-user networked system defines courses, books events, and monitors the progress of students from initial contact to final results. Letters and invoices are printed and an archive kept of completed events. Our customer-centred approach meant that complex protocols derived from a manual system were able to be accurately followed, something that two previous attempts by other software houses had notably failed to do!
A cost-of-care calculation and analysis system for a local old persons society. To enable appropriate funding decisions to be made, this system was developed after an extensive data collection and reduction activity to indicate care costs based on multiple, and otherwise difficult to obtain, input variables. It also provided a versatile, configurable, client database facility and a personal care requirements register.
An appointments scheduling and resource-matching system for a national charity. Designed to match the needs of clients to the availability of carers, this appointments system had very specific requirements not met by existing contact management software. Innovative in its use of the graphical facilites provided by Microsoft Access, it can be used both stand-alone or in a WAN mode to enable synchronisation with other similar systems.
A comprehensive web-site development for a manufacturer and distributor of orthopaedic products. Keen to acquire an Internet presence but lacking the expertise, this company required its entire catalogue to be accessible on-line. After demonstrating our "keep it simple" approach by means of a number of working prototypes a site was designed and implemented to the customer's exact requirements. Site hosting, domain name and online updating issues were then dealt with to produce an extremely cost-effective answer to the problem.
