December 17, 2006 - EVERGREEN, CO

Sun mixed with snow showers greeted holiday season riders for Echo Mountain's Traffic Jam ski and snowboard competition Sunday Dec. 17. Olympic Silver Medalist and Winter XGames star, Mason Aguirre, was on hand to judge competitors, throw out some freebies and autograph bibs.

Competitors threw down their best tricks on the Smith Optics Limo, and Sobe Snowcat rails & hucked big air over the Echo Honda Element. Spectators enjoyed watching the jam and soaked up the warm temps on the patio while listening to tunes over the PA system.

Luke Nutting and Derek Summering each collected $200 for their fine work on the mountain in the ski and snowboard divisions respectively. While the other top finishers had heaps of sponsor goodies bestowed upon them.
