And now, the No-Star team. The No-Star team represents the worst players that the CFOD has to offer at the break. These guys are able to consistently make outs for the team and bring their team's offense to a grinding halt. The criteria used for selecting the teams are: 1. "Hacking-Mass" (HAMA) Value = (AB + BB)*(0.800-OBP-SBSLG) where SBSLG is slugging with net steals inserted. 2. "Hucking-Mass" (HUMA) Value = IP*((ERA-4.13)+(WHIP-1.39)*6) 3. Each batter's position was chosen so that the worst overall team could be assembled. This means that while some players may not have played at that position in the CFOD, they do have a defensive rating for that position, and putting them at that position allows for the insertion of a player who otherwise may not make the team. 4. Relief pitchers are defined as those players who have played less than 50% of their games as starters. Starters are those 50% and over.
