1995 CFOD Most Valuable Batter: There were several candidates for this
award. Without Albert Belle's help, the Moshers probably would not have
made the playoffs. Mike Piazza and Frank Thomas were critical to the
Coneheads' regular season dominance. Edgar Martinez put in one of the
finest seasons in history. However, the award goes to the Syndicate's
Reggie Sanders. It's easy to get overlooked on a team with the likes of
Tony Gwynn, Barry Bonds and Rafael Palmiero. But Sanders was the team's
offense leader this year and was among the league leaders in 12 catagories
(including #2 spots in slugging and RBI's). Computer evaluations also
place Reggie Sanders at the top spot, with a value of 37.62, beating out
second place Edgar Martinez with 36.81.

Cy Young: Is there any doubt? Randy Johnson. Johnson set the strikeout
record while having the best season since Maddux in '94. Johnson won
19 games for the Shriners, with a 1.66 ERA and 0.90 WHIP. Computer
evaluations put Johnson's value at 64.48, better than second place
Mussina's 58.74.
