CFOD teams do not base their salary caps on real life MLB salaries. But what if they did? Below is a
comparison of opening day rosters for CFOD teams with their real-life MLB salaries. Also for comparison
are the actual 2016 team salaries for MLB teams.

For the 4th straight year the San Francisco Piazza's repeat as the team with the highest MLB payroll, and
once again beat the Dodgers (handily) in terms of dollars being paid out. The Piazza's are paying 12
players at least $10 million this year.

The youth-oriented Pirates are at the bottom of the MLB salaries at 74 million, with Evan Longoria being
the only player on the roster making more than $6 million. The MLB Astros still had a lower payroll, being
$5 million under the Pirates.
