2016 CFOD ALL-STAR GAME The 2016 CFOD all-star game was held at Citi Field, home of the Paxtang Pitbulls, the team with the best record at the all-star break. The RY All-Stars were the first team to score, when Termites leadoff hitter Jean Segura walked, moved to 3rd on a single from Termites slugger Josh Donaldson, and scored on an error when Miguel Sano misplayed a ground ball. 1-0 RY all-stars after 1 inning. Climbers ace Tyler Chatwood got into trouble in the 2nd. With 2 outs and runners at 1st & 3rd, Pirates 2B Jose Altuve singled, scoring Carlos Correa of the Sluggers. 1-1 ballgame. Next, Arthropods outfielder Mike Trout went yard. 3 run blast, and the MK all-stars were up 4-1. In the bottom of the inning with runners at 1st & 3rd, Topeka 2B Rougned Odor hit into a double play, allowing Brookfield catcher Wilson Ramos to score from 3rd. The RY all-stars scored again in the 3rd with a solo home run from Piazza's slugger Robinson Cano. 4-3 MK all-stars after 3 innings. The MK all-stars added an insurance run in the 6th inning with a solo home run from Jose Altuve. The RY all-stars closed the gap to 1 run again in the 7th when Mangos infielder Kyle Seager smacked an RBI single with runners at 1st & 3rd. The game remained 5-4 MK heading to the bottom of the 9th. 'Topes closer Chris Devenski was on the mound. Pinch hitter Kris Bryant got a leadoff walk. Cano flied out. Kris Bryant was caught off-guard, and was tagged out in a run down. 2 outs. After Kyle Seager walked, Rocklin's David Ortiz came to the plate. 2 outs, his team down by 1 in in final all-star appearance. But Devenski got better of him, striking him out to end the game. The MK all-stars win the 2016 CFOD all-star game by a score of 5-4. 2016 CFOD ALL-STAR MVP: Pig's Eye Pirates 2B Jose Altuve was a force all game, going 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 runs scored and 2
