Webb tied for the league lead in shutouts with 3, and pitched the most innings in the league with 261 1/3. His 49 saves easily led the league, and posted a low low 1.49 ERA and 0.520 OPS. Despite his team's 11th best league run margin, the Thunder had the leagues 6th best record. That was due to their 74-5 record when leading after 7 innings, and 36-25 record in 1 run games. The Thunder were good at the narrow wins this year, and earned a league wildcard spot because of it and Papelbon.
