2008 ALL-CFOD Teams Below are the 1st and 2nd All-CFOD teams for the 2008 year. Players were selected according to the following formulas: BATVAL = 0.09*(RUNS+RBI)+(AB+BB)*(OBA+SBSLG-0.753)*0.09 STARTPITVAL = ((WINS+SAVES)/1.2+IP/10*((LN(4.30/ERA)+LN(0.753/OPS)))) RELPITVAL = ((WINS+SAVES)/1.6+IP/5*((LN(4.30/ERA)+LN(0.753/OPS)))) Where SBSLG is slugging percentage with net steals factored in, WHIP is (walks + hits)/IP, and LN is the natural log of the function. Starters are those that have at least half of their game appearances as game starts, while relievers are those that do not have at least half of their appearances as game starts. Hitters only qualified at the position where they've played the most this season, with centerfields also qualifying in the left/right field positions if they had enough value.
