Helton's always been the guy who won't lead the league in homers, but kills
you everywhere else.  Helton led the league in average, hits, doubles, and
runs.  His on base average and slugging average were top 10.  Helton was
part of a balanced attack that scored a league high 986 runs and helped capture
the Mantle division pennant.

The mighty Pitbulls had the 2nd highest run production in the league this year
with 947 runs and won the Ruth division pennant.  Delgado was the driver
in the middle, posting a top 10 batting average, and top 3 in on base and
slugging percentage.  Delgado was 2nd in the league in runs, RBI, and 
home runs.

2003 CFOD MVP:  Javy Lopez, C, Boston Brewins

Lopez was an RBI machine in 2003, driving in a league high 160 runs despite
playing in only 134 games, and all of them from the tough catcher position.
Lopez's .699 slugging percentage was 2nd in the league, and his 52 homers were
good for 3rd in the league.  Boston captured their first ever pennant, and
the difference between that pennant (or the playoffs even) and nothing was 
Lopez.
