Every year since 1998 I've kept track of a team's core "age" (the keeper
list + 1st or 1st/2nd round picks).  Here's them all, updated to the 2003
season.  After hanging around near the top of the youth brigade for several
years, the Topeka MooseDogs now take over the title of league's youngest
team, at 26.2 years of age.  Last year's youngest team, Somerville, is
2nd.  Last year's champs Cincinnati jumped the most places, going from 
19th to 4th, shedding a year and a half from their roster.  Seattle
and the Angry Candy lose the most spots, falling 10.  The San Francisco
Piazza's are the league's oldest team, at 31.6 years of age.  Their
first round pick?  29 year old "rookie" Hideki Matsui.
