Every year since 1998 I've kept track of a team's core "age" (the keeper list + 1st or 1st/2nd round picks). Here's them all, updated to the 2001 season. The Sacramento Fish have lost their crown as the league's youngest team. That honor belongs to the rebuilt Boston Brewins, who shaved nearly 4 years off their average total. The Fish aged by 3 years from 2000 to 2001, but still ranked as the 2nd youngest team in the league. The San Diego Termites keep their 30-something theme, taking the title of league's oldest team at 31.5 years. The Springfield 'Topes jumped up 14 places (from 20th to 6th youngest), while the California Coneheads and Toronto Towers lost the most ground, each losing 11 spots.
