1999 ALL-CDBL TEAM The 1999 all-CDBL teams were selected based upon the following formulas: BATVAL = 0.09*(RUNS+RBI)+(AB+BB)*(OBA+SBSLG-0.791)*0.09 STARTPITVAL = ((WINS+SAVES)/1.2+IP/10*((LN(4.88/ERA)+LN(0.791/OPS)))) RELPITVAL = ((WINS+SAVES)/1.6+IP/5*((LN(4.88/ERA)+LN(0.791/OPS)))) Where SBSLG is slugging percentage with net steals factored in, and LN is the natural log of the function. Starters are those that have at least half of their game appearances as game starts, while relievers are those that do not have at least half of their appearances as game starts. Hitters only qualified at the position where they've played the most this season, with centerfields also qualifying in the left/right field positions if they had enough value.
