He kept winning and winning and winning early on, so that by the time the Riots had all but won the pennant, he had a 19-4 record. His 269 innings pitched was 3rd best in the league, his 21 wins was tied for first, and was top 10 in complete games, ERA and shutouts (which he was tied for 1st).
